We opened the deck, pre-existing vinyl membrane on concrete, to discover several serious issues. The previous install had occurred as a result at re-sloping. We found a layer of vinyl, the original install at time of construction, a layer of concrete that had been poured to slope the deck as it had insufficient slope to the drain, and another vinyl application on that.... prior to the re-sloping, a hole had been cored into the deck in an attempt to install a sky-light to the suit below. This hole was filled with a resin base material. It is suspect that this area may have been a contributing factor to this deck needing to be redone.

As shown above, there is a layer of vinyl, a layer of concrete, and another layer of vinyl... The clean up resulted in almost 1900 lbs of debris for disposal...
